Paloma's Plants & Event Venue

Love this store. It’s huge!!!! So many plants!!! Good prices too. And the owner lady is awesome!!! I love my succulents. I got a FREE “mosquito” plant from her 3 years ago. Becasue it wasn’t very strong. It is a BEAST today!!! I also got some fly traps… but they didn’t make it. Those are hard to keep alive for me. That’s also something new and unique to get!!!

I rented the event venue for my 40th birthday party! The owner and staff were kind, responsive to questions, and very helpful. The space was set up according to our needs and moderately priced. I had a excellent experience!

I meant to leave this review a while ago, I moved and haven’t been able to come to the store for a minute. This store rocks! Every time I’m there the selection is wonderful and this store is a houseplant enthusiast’s dream. All of the plants I got here are thriving over a year later, mostly philodendrons and some succulents and snake plants. Staff is friendly and helpful, the store has a relaxed vibe and the vendors add a little bit of something for everyone. -Brady

There are half as many plants in the store now, and most of them have pests and/or are not well taken care of. For the prices they are charging on some of these plants, I would expect them to be in good condition. The Hoya section is very sad and almost all of them have mealy bugs, crunchy or mushy leaves, obvious broad mite and flat mite damage, or yellowed leaves from underwatering. The photos in my review are from today. One has visible mealy bugs and the other is in terrible shape with a $60 price tag on it. That was only 2 out of many Hoyas in that section that looked awful. I would be ashamed to sell plants at these prices in these conditions, not to mention someone will bring a pest home and into their plant collection if they buy from here!

I love this shop! I’ve just started getting into plant ownership and Paloma has been so helpful! I’ve gone in twice now to have her help me propagate my plants (one of them is a snake plant I bought from there months ago) because I’m scared I’m going to kill them if I do it myself lol she is so knowledgeable and kind. I’ve learned a lot through her—what soil to use, how often to water, etc. Her plant assortments are always healthy and vibrant too. Overall, I’ve always had a wonderful experience. 12/10 recommend
